Universal Mold Release

Universal Mold Release™ is formulated especially for mold making and casting, and works well with most liquid rubber and liquid plastic products. It will release mold rubbers (such as polyurethanes and polysulfides) from properly prepared models. Sealing porous models (wood, plaster, concrete) or certain modeling clays (containing water or sulfur) with Smooth-On SuperSeal™ or other sealer may be necessary. If using silicone rubber, seal model surface with SuperSeal™ only. Do not use Universal Mold Release™. Universal Mold Release™ also easily releases a variety of casting materials (epoxies, Smooth-On liquid plastics, etc.) from cured rubber molds. Properly used, Universal Mold Release™ improves molding efficiency for a variety of casting applications and will actually lengthen the life of your production mold.

Gallons - No additional charges when shipped Ground or Home Delivery.  The only express option available is Priority Overnight, which is a hazardous material.  We will contact you if you choose a shipping method that isn't allowed or with additional hazardous material fees.

5 Gallon Pails of Univesal Mold Release™ are always hazardous.  For Ground and Home Delivery fees will apply and shipping charges are correct. The only expedited shipping option available is Priority Overnight, and we will have to contact you with the correct shipping price. 

Aerosol cans and cases of cans can be shipped Ground or Home Delivery with no additional fees.  If you choose an express shipping method such as 2Day or Overnight they are a hazardous material, and we will contact you with additional freight charges.
