This workshop is the follow-up to Basic Moldmaking and covers intermediate level knowledge and skills. Workshop to be held as a "learn by doing" type class where participants will make a mold of an object, with the goal to be knowledge of how to continue making versus a "final object" result.
There will be a demonstration and explanation on resin/rubber mold making as well as a handout defining intermediate terms and techniques, followed by participants each making their own mold using silicone rubber. The class will cover how to find parting lines, multiple part molds, using silicone rubbers and encasement/shell/mother molds.
